Hi all here is a start to the brochure page. Maybe we could just write ideas and date and name them like this...
In my mind the publicity needs to be a bit like a flow chart or mind map of the organisation, maybe have some plans, bus routes and a map, ways of getting involved, description of the different organisations that will be in the building, maybe some other stuff too to make it more zine like? a list of all the facilities, and a call to volunteers.

Anyone who wants too have a crack at a logo for star and shadow should, and then email it to annette. printerette@gmail.com We have a few already. mat says what about an article from someone like Neil Young. He is following this up. Will be in touch soon with ideas.

Hello, finally got to the wiki. Been trying to find the concentration and time to do so..I got the drawings you sent, Deb. Is helpful to relate to the space a bit more
Am currently a bit confused about what exactly this brochure should entail. Maybe this is because I havent been part of all your conversations.. This is what I would say before having spoken with you; It sounds like a good idea to make this bit of information like a kind of map of what the cinema will be and have and needs. People will need to understand whats going on in order to want to join in. This i think can be pretty playful, needs to be playful and could include various contributions if folks are willing to add. Personally though I would not try to make it too broad, in order to get the basic idea across first Ring, ring
Now I have just spoken to Debbie and everything feels a lot clearer. We will start sending eachother drawings, info, etc. to and fro and make some sort of more coherant representation, which is to be the brochure, based on this. Debbie will go to the Free Press and Potts Printers in North Shields for quotes, while I absorb myself into all the information I have just found.
We need to consider how many of these we need. Usual amount for brochures is 8000 if I remember correct, is this too much perhaps?
I like the idea of everybody's take on a new logo for the Star & Shadow to be included if other folks are up for that.
Please submit your ideas, drawings, thoughts. Debbie mentioned the idea of a sort of coupon on the brochure to put details onto and maybe with some options for volunteerwork or something. People can cut it out and send on to us.
I like the idea of opening up the brochure and having this visual map probably full of info , which then leads you to a more broken down, literal text version on the sides

What is gonna happen with the different sides? i mean i figure you re going to cont. programming as separate groups, but will you wanna hold on to your symbols/icons/logos?
