Really useful marketing jobs

If you do or are planning to do some of these jobs- communicate it to us so we know whats done or can tell you whats already been done.

1. Researching and emailing lecturers at local universities with information about specific films well in advance. E.g French / modern languages about French Poetic realism, Philosophy, English, Film Studies about Zizek's film Pervert's Guide, etc.

2. Finding other community organisations, such as lifelong learning classes who might be interested in specific films, e.g french classes for Poetic Realism season,

3. Making a really basic flyer and posting a bunch to the people you found in 1+2.

4. Making a poster and actually putting them up a month before the event (check April's brochure for that).

5. Thinking up a press release for something dramatic that has happened or is going to happen in the cinema and sending it to local media - 1000th member or 88 Iranians in the cinema last night, or 'film projector required back by Baltic'.

6. Doing the monday email out to the announce list- debbie doing at moment. Anyone else can have it though

7. Inputting membership data and emailing the new email addresses to Simon. help!

8. Putting more pictures on ther internet.

9. Updating the BLOG with pictures or bits of text about great events that have happened.
