BROCHURE DESIGN The deadline for the brochure is coming up so we thought we should choose a designer and also respond to Designers' emails offering to do the brochure. Liz had offered and emailed a proposal fro September, Susana (Adessi design) had emailed some sample work Nik Barrera (Name) had offered to do December/January Annette had also offered to do those months

Looking at the work we thought Susana should do September's brochure. We thought we would ask Liz if she could do October/November because when we discussed the September cover she'd sent it was kind of thought that it didn't quite hit the spot yet. But we still want her to do one. We discussed how we should express a house style without being too crap about it. We "thought-showered" some words we thought might sum up what the house style had become to give designers a clue about what the group liked on the whole. these included: Ecclectic Fun Non Corporate cut and paste a work of art Clarity December/Jan will go to Nick if he still wants to do it. There was some discussion about if it was a good idea to get someone who already does so many local Arts brochures becasue we want to look different, but were curious about what he might bring becasue his work is very clear and "pro". If Annette is up foor Feb/March she could do that. April/May we thought could go to a school group, young individual, woodcraft folk something like that. We thought it would make an interesting project for them and a fresh thing for us. So we need to start looking out for a young person or three.

Someone needs to contact all those people and see if they are up for it. (WHO??)

JULY BROCHURE where are they?? we aint got enough. we had 2000 printed October ought to have 2500 done and more for double month brochures.

WEEKLY EMAIL Debbie doesn't want to do the weekly announce.list email any more. Mat will do it this week and email to volunteers seeing who else wants to have a crack.

SUMMERTYNE PRESS RELEASE Debbie want to send one out but doesn't want to write it. Clara will do it .
