2 Programming Issues

People who enter events on wiki MUST also enter some contact details so event details can be checked and people be contacted about programme copy.

Discussion over merging publicity and programming meetings - or not - carried forward to programming meeting next Mon.

Posting programmes - several people offered to come in tomorrow at 1pm to stuff envelopes

3 Building Maintenance

Have to get some fire extinghishers refilled - Christo dealing with.

Ilana working with ADT who maintain fire alarm system - heating is currently setting it off.

Ilana is working with Matt Forrester, landlord re toilets and re cottage leaking.

Coffee machine - Alan would like to get it working so if anyone knows its history, please talk to him.

Front, mini door - agreed to give a key to beer suppliers so they can deliver. Have to take out part of alarm that covers this area - agreed to do if we can make box office and inner green door more secure. Building maintenance people to look at on Sat - see how feasible it is to move sensor ourselves.

5 Volunteers & Processes

Volunteer induction sessions are increasingly well attended. Any volunteers who want to feed back how easy/difficult it was to get involved please talk to Holly or Craig.

Ceilidh - meant to be an event aimed at volunteers. Holly having trouble finding a band on the cheap.

6 Issues Arising from Last Gen Meet

Last Year in Marienbad, had wrong lens in, shown elongated - worth checking aspect before projecting esp 35mm

Door security - Christo to email Maz about getting a buzzer for inner green door.

Adrin - still some problems returning films - make sure they're returned to distro promptly.

AOB - Cafe

Mike's handout of four ideas passed around.

Ilana - 5th option is not to have a cafe.

Pauline - 6th option is to buy food in to sell and have no kitchen.

Lots of discussion - general feeling that cafe is great idea but we don't have throughput/footfall to justify the costs. Some ideas from Hannah who runs green fest cafe - serve one item eg: veg burgers. Serve 2 dishes every now and then on set night. Have already got quite a large cooker.

Holly will ring Josephine Stevenson who does H&S at the council to find out about policies on food we do occasionally serve.

Nat - have to decide specifically what want to acheive food wise.

Holly - Like to have food nights - almost always have food on world cinema.

Alan/Pauline/Ilana all proposed moving this on by finding out what we have to do H&S wise to allow us to serve some food and not to prep food. We'd then come up with a few regular events where we'd serve food - eg: cake on a Bit Crack nights.

Holly will meet with Mike to feed back on this discussion and talk about how this will go forward.
