HEALTH AND SAFETY

--> Harriet to find risk assessment

Lindsay and Ed have gone round building and checked it. Things to be done: - toilets: baby changing station (in disabled toilet) and child steps - top bolt on partitioning door (in hall) - top bolt on staff toilets - plug covers - wires to be moved up - gate at bar (already in construction!) - more toilet signs

--> someone go along to maintenance day and make changes

--> Ed will try to get costs covered for baby changing station, plug covers, bolts, wood and hinges for gate (will find out Wednesday)

--> create FAMILY DAY CHECKLIST to check before every screening: - toilets cleaned - top bolts bolted - check no hanging wires lying about - go round building to check - put poster up (more details on this later)

POLICY --> Ed will look at similar projects and see what their policy consists of, so we can incorporate relevant parts into Star and Shadow policy

CHILD POLICY ! children to be accompanied by adult! - advertise as family event - add to volunteer induction that volunteers at family events NOT responsible for children --> Hannah to prepare draft - get CRB checks with S and S for us for safety (and ensure at least one of us is at every screening) --> Hannah will check if we can get this done with CVS (council for volunteer service)

ENTRANCE COSTS

- for children, no membership fee required - for accompanying adults, find funding to cover 100 memberships

FUNDING bid to the awards committee (contact with Caroline from there): - £ 100 for memberships - £200 for hiring films - £100 for publicity --> Harriet to email constitution to Caroline

DATES We've booked for April and May, and will see how it has gone then: April: Thursday 17th and Sunday 20th May: Thursday 15th and Sunday 18th

TIME Thursdays: doors open at 3.30 pm for 4 pm start Sundays: doors open at 2.30 pm for 3 pm start
