The future location of the Star and Shadow is uncertain because of the imminent expiry of the existing lease - and because of a lot of complex variables and doubt about what may be possible and/or desirable.

So you are being asked for your views about all of this.....

a raw space and have another building festival a mostly ready-to-go space and modify it move into a space we have built to our specs

the old department store on west clayton street 

Blandford square? arts council funding interests there.

West End:

the old newcastle council building on Avison Street off Stanhope? (it has a park out front for outdoor films projected on to the building! )

the Plaza on West Road - (formerly Wetherspoons)

Interim plans so we don't go dark and so we maintain cash flow

partner with another cinema/venue to do once-a-week events. issues: hire fee? ticket taking proceeds? bar proceeds? possible venues: tyneside cinema, Gateshead old town hall, discovery museum great hall, side cinema... monthly fundraiser events, each at a different venue? go on the road beyond newcastle?
